OPDB 1.1 RELEASE NOTES

  The OPDB 1.1 software release includes the following bug fixes and add-ons:

       1. We are providing multiple login modules -LDAP and internal(mysql).
       2. OPDB can now be visually customized. 5 new skins have been added to OPDB which can be changed in config_visual file.
       3. A new Navigation link is provided after login which takes you to the original location before log-in.
       4. Search results (header bar search) now preserves the visibility access.
       5. Issue with Search results appearing multiple times has been fixed.
       6. Example content has been added to the database structure for download.
       7. Photo cropping bugs are fixed.
       8. Resource wanted object type is removed.
       9. About page has been Generalized.
      10. A new file config_login.php has been added for login module configuration.
      11. Crosstalk option has been removed from project edit.php pages.
      12. Unwanted files and directories have been removed.
      13. An administration page has been created for creating and editing news posts.
      14. A separate News Archive page has been created for news section to see previous news.
      15. Issue with the projects displayed in listbox has been resolved. Only projects of currently logged in user were displaying earlier which is fixed             now.
      16. Several security issues with OPDB has been fixed.
                 a. Security issue with delete/edit links were any user can edit/delete links have been resolved.
                 b. Registration section now comes with a strong CAPTCHA which prevents spamming.
                 c. CAPTCHA has also been integrated to comment section to prevent spamming.
      17. The Google Analytics has been removed.
      18. Certain design issues have been fixed.
      19. Certain wrong message issues in photo upload section has been fixed.
      20. Alignment of edit Weblog page in IE has been fixed.
      21. OPDB1.1 is now compatible with almost all e-learning software like Moodle etc..
      22. Configuration files have been separated and categorized for easier operation.
      23. Certain links, field visibilities and contents can now be changed in config files.
                a. You can change the forgot password and new user sign up links in config file.
                b. You can change the last name field requirement in config file.
                c. You can change the email address and content of emails in config_login file.
 
   
    OPDB 1.2 RELEASE NOTES
 
            The main feature upgrade in OPDB 1.2 is the client-2-host syndication features. This allows for a local OPDB installation to publish into another        installation.

    OPDB 1.3 RELEASE NOTES
 
      More UI features have been added in OPDB1.3.

      01. New tabs for photos, videos and attachments.
      02. A new appearance for weblogs.
      03. A common set of linking tabs at the bottom of browse page for all types of entries.
      04. Support for Youtube videos.
      05. Unlimited photo upload.

 
    OPDB 1.35 RELEASE NOTES
 
    The 1.35 release introduces the following features

        01. Adding people to projects with direct ajax editing.
        02. Specifying relationship types for people connected to a project.
        03. Setting access permissions for people connected to a project.
        04. Inviting new users to join OPDB, with and without sending invitational email.
        05. News Feed module for home page containing information about the latest updates to all publicaly visible projects.
        06. News Feed on project pages containing latest updates to that project.
        07. Continuation of project news feed integrated into that project's blog tab.
        08. RSS feed for projects - visible whenever viewing a project and shown on home page, same RSS feed as weblogs.
        09. Weblogs will now have news updates in it.
